While I was living in Crown Heights, Brooklyn in late 2023, I was obsessing over Henry Taylor having gone to his exhibition at The Whitney. There, I saw how he had painted on pretty much anything he could find including food and cigarette boxes. I figured I would do the same just to test concepts.
This portrait is of “OG” painted on a Lean Cuisine Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes.
